Tiszakécskéről angolul

My town, Tiszakécske is not a cosmopolitan metropolis , which anoyne would know, but those who have alread been here at least once like this place and always come back with fondness. Tiszakécske is located in the middle of Hungary, along one of the longest rivers in Europe, the River Tisza.
Its location and the friendly atmosphere are probably the reason why many tourists from all over the continent, especially from Germany, Netherlands and from Hungary, of course, choose it as a holiday destination year after year. A great number of its visitors love this city  for the marvellous long walking path in the park by the river, named after Miskó István. Let it be an autumn's afternoon or a summer's morning, it is consistently full of pensioners walking their dogs, chatting teenagers and cycling or playing children. In the daytime the fabulous songs of chirping birds, and the bright golden lights from the high lampposts at night make the path even more attractive.
On sticky hot days you can cool down your body swimming in the river, or just spend your free time lying in the sun on the sandy beach ,along the River Tisza, where- if the weather is good - the air is filled with the laughter of cheerful children, the music from the jukeboxes of the local bars, and the smell of fresh fried fish.
In Tiszakécske, the central streets, parks and buildings have been recently removed in order to give the city a modern and well-kept appearance. We have a few newly constructed supermarkets, which are indispensable in a developing city.
In the smaller streets, where only a few car passes through, talking grandmothers , happy faces of children playing hide and seek and the scent of freshly cut grass prove that it is  a town that has equally parts that may seem to be rural , but cosy.
I am grateful to have the chance to have grown up and live here, and I hope it will be definitely at the back of my mind even if I were to move somewhere else later, as it means the perfect Hometown for me.
